IT'S TIME TO EMBRACE WINTER

Downtown West Allis Inc and other community organizations are teaming up to bring you a week’s worth of fun, winter activities!

 

Join us as we channel our hygge and explore all the things that make winter in West Allis great!

 It’s MLK Jr. Day, which is a perfect day to give back to your community! Bring your new and gently used socks, coats, and other cozy items to Apostle Presbyterian Church to support the homeless in the West Allis Community.

The popular Downtown West Allis Soup Crawl is back for a fourth year in a row. 

Starting at $12, attendees can warm up with soup samples from 10 different West Allis Restaurants!

ALICE IN WINTER WONDERLAND

As part of West Allis Winter Week, we will be hosting a night of fun winter crafts, trivia, and more; all "Alice in Wonderland" themed with a winter twist!

AURORA WEST ALLIS MEDICAL CENTER LUMINARY DISPLAY

HOSTED BY ADVOCATE AURORA HEALTH

THURSDAY, JANUARY 19, 2023

8901 W LINCOLN AVENUE | 6-8 PM

Aurora West Allis Medical Center and Downtown West Allis Inc will be hosting their first Luminary Display* – a family-friendly event to raise funds for their Women's Health Fund.

We need lots of luminaries to “light” the way around the hospital.  Buy a luminary ($10) and add your family name or the name of someone you want to honor or remember in a special way. 

Luminaries can be purchased online or at the Aurora West Allis Medical Center Women's Pavilion starting November 1st. 

 

On the day of the event– all luminaries will be displayed in the healing garden labyrinth for guests to enjoy. Free hot cocoa will be served.  

WINTER FUN IN THE PARK

HOSTED BY LIBERTY HEIGHTS PARK NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION

FRIDAY, JANUARY 20, 2023

Meet up with your friends at Liberty Heights Park for an evening of Winter Fun! The ice skating rink may not be ready yet, but LHPNA will have s'mores, glow stick dance party, a fire pit, winter crafts, and more! Kegels food truck will be on site serving up some of your favorite German comfort foods as well.
