WHEN AND WHERE CAN I REGISTER MY CAR?
You can register online or in person at Model Empire (7116 W Greenfield Avenue).
Does the event happen rain or shine?
Yes! The Downtown West Allis Classic Car Show goes on rain or shine. No refunds are given if you choose to not bring your vehicle.
Where can I park?
Free parking is available in the municipal lots behind all of the buildings on Greenfield Avenue. There is also street parking available north and south of the festival footprint.
Can I register my vehicle the day of the show?
No. In the past, when we had day of registration, there were numerous problems with traffic jams, people trying to sneak their vehicle into the show and take spots away from people that pre paid, and people trying to say they are with a car club they don't belong to in order to get a "better" parking space. Every car needs a receipt to get into the show.
FOLLOW UP: "But I have a really nice car", "I put a lot of work into my car", "you're really going to want this car in the show": these comments will not get you a space in the show! Everybody who brings their car to our show thinks they have a nice car that they put a lot of work into. The only way to get your car in the show is to follow the rules and pre register before the deadline like everyone else.
WHEN IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER?
Registration cut off is always the third Thursday in September. This gives our staff time to proof read all the information and print window cards on top of all over event prep.
What do i get for my registration fee?

If for some reason you registered and are unable to attend the show, you can pick up your T-Shirt and Goody Bag the following two weeks after the show.
What Time Is check in? Why so early?
Car Clubs can check in between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM, individual cars can park between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM. All cars need to be in place before pedestrians can start walking in the street.
Can I bring a different car than the one I registered?
Yes, this happens more than you think! If the original car you registered is unable to get to the show and you have a different car you would like to show, you are welcome to enter it in it's place. When you arrive, you will need to get a new window card made at the t-shirt pick up table on S 73rd and Greenfield.
What do I do if i need to leave the show before 3 PM?
About 15 minutes before you have to leave, alert your block captain that you will need to get out. They will escort you through the crowd to the nearest exit.
How Does My Child Enter The West Allis Auto Club Hot Wheel Races?
You and your child can visit the West Allis Auto Club booth on the north side of 72nd and Greenfield at 12:30 pm to sign up.
Can I Bring my dog to this event?
Absolutely! As long as you clean up after them and make sure they don't jump up on the cars.
