At this time, the West Allis A La Carte Committee and Downtown West Allis Inc have no intention of cancelling the West Allis A La Carte. According to the Center for Disease Control, for the majority of people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 (aka the Corona virus) is thought to be low. CDC recommends that for the next 8 weeks (through the end of April), organizers cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 50 people or more throughout the U.S.
We closely monitor other communities and local events, and have noticed that those who are rescheduling events that were supposed to happen in March and April are rescheduling for May and June. The West Allis A La Carte is always the first Sunday in June.
We ask that attendees continue to use best health care practices; such as regularly washing hands, covering mouths and noses with a tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing, and staying home if YOU feel sick.
