Who do the proceeds from this event benefit?

All proceeds from Wood & Wings benefit the City of West Allis Forestry Department and The Downtown West Allis Design Committee. Forestry uses their portion of the funds to plant new trees throughout the whole city and Downtown West Allis uses theirs for beautification projects like the brick planters and sidewalk painting

Does the event happen rain or shine?

Yes! Wood & Wings goes on rain or shine.

How Do I Compete in the Wing Competition?

Visit the main Wood & Wings page to download our restaurant application. All participating restaurants need a Temporary Special Event Permit. You can get this permit from the West Allis Health Department, (414) 302-8653.

How Do I Become A Vendor?

Visit the main Wood & Wings page to download our vendor application. Unlike our other events, these vendors have to pertain to Urban Wood (wood workers, eco-friendly non-profits, etc.) 

How do I become an Artist?

Visit the main Wood & Wings page to download our artist application. We only have 13 openings, so you will be notified by early August if you have been selected. 

Can I Bring my dog to this event?

Absolutely! As long as you clean up after them, and make sure they don't get into anyone's food.
